Kiluani Clinic of Life

In 2001 the Kiluani Clinic of Life was started in a little room next door to the Nurse’s house. Today the clinic has been extended to a 7-room building. More than 30 cases turn up on a clinic day.

In September 2002, we rejoiced at the dedication the clinic. Rev Timothy Tow of Life Bible Presbyterian Church and Rev Patrick Tan then of New Life Bible Presbyterian Church graced the occasion.  Chief Raphael Singira, The Chief of Mailua, and Mr Masikonti Tamei, Chairman of the Mailua Group Ranch represented the local community at the dedication ceremony.

The clinic work continues to have a two-pronged impact: it brings much relief to human suffering in a place where medical help is negligible and it is also the evangelistic arm of the church. Whenever the patients come, Pastor Omweri will preach the gospel to them. It is also the place that the students will receive tracts and counselling, when necessary.

The clinic is managed by missionary nurse Miss Chan Pui Meng of Life Bible Presbyterian Church
